MOTHER (Mobile based maTernal HEalth awaReness)

India is committed to reduce the maternal mortality ratio and providing universal access to reproductive health. Awareness generation on maternal and child health is a major responsibility and fundamental importance, to ensure utilization of various healthcare programs implemented by Government. ‘MOTHER’ is a pilot initiative to provide personalized messages on ante-natal, post-natal and childcare, directly to the pregnant and lactating women through mobile phones, using automated voice calls.
